Paid AdviceWhilst the information provided, as free guidance, is, by its nature, fairly general, we will be pleased to provide more specific advice, on a paid consultancy basis. As mentioned elsewhere, please note that the information is copyright to Quercetum Limited. Also please note that all trade takes place in the United Kingdom. For further details please read our Copyright notice in About Us. The most popular service is the sale of checklists. These checklists are designed for use in producing Statements of Requirements, used in selecting Computer Systems. They have been prepared by distilling the features required for a number of different clients in a particular market sector or industry and list a number of features which have been requested in the past and may be of interest for other clients in the same sectors or industries. Subsets of these checklists may also be of use as topics to be considered both in Business Planning and Quality (ISO 9000) projects. These checklists, each containing several hundred questions, are available at a price of £15 to £25 each. For details of checklists currently available, see Checklists. Advice on Specific Problems. We will be happy to assign a consultant to spend up to one hour considering your question and preparing a response, for a fixed fee of £50. If the question cannot be satisfactorily answered, or will require more time, we will refund the fee, and explain what courses of action are open to you. As the site has only just been launched, we have reduced the fee to £30, for a limited period. To submit your question, please mailto:enquiries@quercetum.co.uk More Frequently Asked Questions. As times goes on, the number of frequently asked questions will exceed the space available in the Free Guidance area. We intend to build a library of such questions, providing general responses, organised by topic, and allowing the entire library to be downloaded for a small fee (probably around £10 initially, rising to around £25 when the list exceeds 100 FAQs). This service is not yet available. General Document Review. If you have prepared a document, probably a business plan, or statement of requirements, as suggested in our guides, we can undertake a review of the document at an overview level. This review, which takes around half a day, and costs £250, reviews the document and comments about the level of the content, the tone, significant omissions or commissions, and provides general advice for improvement. For details of how to submit documents, see Document Review. Detailed Document Review. If you are reasonably content with the general balance of the document, we can undertake a detailed review, taking up to a day of effort, and costing £500. If there are significant points that would arise from a general review, we will raise them but, in general, we will be looking at the detailed points. In statements of requirements, we might ask whether specific detailed points have been addressed, or require clarification of areas of confusion. In business plans, we might identify where more information was required, or the emphasis needed to be changed. For details of how to submit documents, see Document Review. Despite all the useful advice provided on this site, we are still, at heart, a management consultancy interested in undertaking projects for clients. For further details of the type of work which we can undertake, please see Projects, or go directly to Specific Assistance, state your needs, and we will respond to you as quickly as possible. If you require assistance, but none of the above advice or review services seems appropriate, we will be happy to see if we can provide a service tailored to your requirements. In this case, please go to Specific Assistance, state your needs, and we will respond to you as quickly as possible. If you have experienced problems with any of our services, please send an e-mail. mailto:problems@quercetum.co.uk and we will try to resolve the problem as speedily as possible. We are constantly seeking to improve the service which we can offer. Accordingly, if you have suggestions for possible improvements, please let us know by sending an e-mail. mailto:suggestions@quercetum.co.uk |
